MEET THE TEAM
Gwynn Ellicott
With over 30 years in the Health and Fitness Industry, Gwynn leads this outstanding team of personal trainers and instructors.
She graduated with a degree in Hotel and Spa Management in 1988 and soon after, moved to Oahu. After managing and directing high end Spa Retreats for 9 years, she then decided to open her own fitness club in Kailua. Kailua Fitness began in January of 1997. Kailua Fitness was well received in the community with over 500 members in the early 2000’s. We had over 30 classes a week, childcare, physical therapy, massage therapy and personal training. The business had to move its location a few times due to leases expiring and buildings being sold. In many aspects, Kailua Fitness was ten years before it’s time in Kailua. In 2005, the brick-and-mortar location was sold, and Gwynn began assisting Mid Pacific Country Club with its first build out of a fitness center along with adding fitness and wellness classes to its membership. Kailua Fitness is now a team of mobile personal trainers and instructors that teach members of Mid Pacific Country Club, as well as clients, students, and vacationers throughout the community of Kailua.
Personal training and teaching have always been Gwynn’s passion. She loves to watch how all the clients and members enjoy the sessions and classes and have fun in their daily lifestyle. Gwynn enjoys all outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Megan Pupilis
I’m a “you are stronger than you think" type of trainer who will push you to your limits and enjoy watching you accomplish something you didn't think you could do. I'm open and honest with my clients about what they need to do to accomplish their goals. I'm encouraging, motivating, and tough--and I do it with a smile on my face. :) I have taught yoga for the last 10 years and love the balance yoga brings to a training program and strive to design and implement a program customizable for each and every client I work with. No 2 persons are the same and neither should your program. As a yoga teacher and trainer my goal is to inspire clients to connect with their own personal wisdom, healing abilities and expansive potential. I strive to help students to strengthen the body and calm the mind, while at the same time detoxify and electrify the body and mind at their deepest levels. I also make sure my students see that fitness is not all that serious, it is also fun and a healthy dose of laughter.

I love to teach as a way to inspire and help others, as yoga did for me. I drive my students with a gentle flow so they can feel into their bodies, open their hearts and stand in their truth.
